3D Shaker Embossing Folder Card – Positivity Square

A quick demonstration of the new 3D Shaker embossing folders with removable dies and chamfered edges. This creates a beautiful dimensional frame around embossed detail, perfect for shaker cards or standalone embellishments.

You will need

Step by step

1. Cut your cardstock to size (6 by 6 inches for the square format). ▶ watch 30:45
2. Place the cardstock into the embossing folder with the die facing up. ▶ watch 31:15
3. Run the cardstock through your die-cutting machine using your standard plate settings. ▶ watch 34:15
4. Carefully remove the cardstock from the folder and reveal the embossed design with chamfered frame. ▶ watch 34:45
5. Admire the 3D detail on both the front and reverse of the embossed piece. ▶ watch 35:15

Tips from the show

• The die inside the embossing folder is taped in, not glued, so you can remove it if you want to leave white space in the centre.
• You can use these folders as shakers by adding glitter or sequins behind the acetate, or as standalone 3D embellishments.
• Acetate is included in the bundle, so you can start making shakers straight away.
