Trim a piece of white card to 5 1/4 x 7 1/4". Place stencil 1, from the Stella pack, onto the card. Blend lightly with the Hickory Smoke Distress ink. Line up stencil 2 and blend with the same ink but with more pressure. Line up stencil 3 and use the same ink pad again but with even more pressure. Line up stencil 4 and lightly blend with Sherbet. Line up stencil 5 and apply the Sherbet with more pressure. |
Ink up the coordinating stamp with the Midnight ink, line up and stamp over your stencilled image. |
Use the coordinating die to cut Stella out. |
You will need TWO of the same design from the Couture Crosswalks paper pack. |
Die cut the Textile Touches die from the centre of ONE of the matching papers. |
This is what you should have.... |
Carefully line up and glue the die cut textiles to the other sheet of paper, ensuring you match up the design! This is known as the Eclipse Technique |
This is an optional step but you can splatter Black Soot onto your paper before adhering Stella, slightly to the left of centre, with fomam pads. |
Stamp the sentiment in Midnight, onto white card. Trim to size/shape required, then mat onto black cardstock, trimming it to create a small "mat". Adhere to the right of the card, to complete your project. |
