I Love You - 03/28/2023

Place the Heart Splash stencil off the right hand edge of the white card, cut to 5 1/4" square. Use a blending tool to blend the Indigo, Heather and Tiffany inks through the aperture, keeping a small area free from ink, as seen here. 

Splatter droplets of water on to your inky background, wait a few seconds then mop up the excess ink/water, with a paper towel. 

Remove the stencil and give your background a quick blast with a heat tool, if you're impatient like me!! 

Ink up the large foliage stamp, from the Say It With Love stamp set, with the Midnight hybrid ink. Stamp it several times so it arches around your aperture, re-inking between each stamp.  

Ink up the Deers, foliage and floral stamps, from Meet Me By The Willow, with the Midnight ink and create your scene, to the bottom left of the inked heart. 

Pop a little Tiffany on to your glass mat, add water and use a paint brush to "ground" your stamped images. 

Using your paint brush, add water to open leafy areas of the stamped foliage, wait a few seconds then "lift" the ink with a paper towel. This is known as the "faux bleach" technique. 

Ink up the sentiment from the Love & Hope set, with Midnight and stamp within the stencilled heart.

Adhere this on to the pink, texture card. 

Ink up the floral stamp with Midnight and using your matted artwork as a guide, stamp it directly on to the bottom right of the white, 7" square card blank. 

Adhere your artwork on to your card blank, towards the top left, to finish.
