Mounted Watercolour Botanical Cards with Sentiment and Gems

Mount your finished watercolour paintings onto folding note cards and embellish with washi tape sentiments and decorative gems to complete two beautiful handmade cards.

Step by step

1. Mount your first dried watercolour piece onto a folding note card using adhesive. ▶ watch 34:00
2. Mount your second dried watercolour piece onto another folding note card. ▶ watch 35:00
3. Apply clear gems or sparkles to the first card, choosing clear stones to complement the green background tones. ▶ watch 38:30
4. Add a washi tape sentiment to the first card. ▶ watch 39:00
5. Apply coloured gems in mixed tones (cappuccino, dark chocolate, oyster and purple) to the second card. ▶ watch 40:00
6. Add a washi tape sentiment to the second card. ▶ watch 41:00

Tips from the show

• Choose clear gems for cards with green undertones and coloured gems for warmer-toned cards.
