A project from our live show CATCH UP with the Create Together Club - Inspiration Video 3 for Stamp A NOTE TO SAY - SHOW 27th Oct 21 · 10/27/2021
A beautiful card featuring a typewriter stamp embossed in bright blue with watercolour shading, decorated with a peony flower and a butterfly border pattern. The design combines bold embossing with delicate floral elements for an elegant, layered look.
Stamp the typewriter image onto white cardstock using a clear embossing ink pad.
Apply blue embossing powder to the stamped image and heat set with a heat gun until the powder melts and becomes glossy.
Use a mini distress ink pad in Faded Jeans to add shading around the typewriter, creating depth and dimension.
Apply watercolour in blue tones to enhance the typewriter further, using a feathering technique to blend the colour.
Stamp the butterfly image repeatedly around the edges of the card to create a decorative border.
Stamp and die-cut the peony flower from the Pretty Penny set three times, colouring them in matching blue tones.
Arrange the peony flowers on the card, positioning one as a focal point and layering with die-cut foliage.
Add decorative elements such as twigs and glass beads around the typewriter and flowers to create a cohesive composition.
Adhere all elements to the card base, ensuring the typewriter remains the focal point with supporting florals and embellishments.
