A project from our live show CATCH UP with the Create Together Club - Inspiration Video 6 for Stamp A NOTE TO SAY - SHOW 30th Oct 21 · 10/30/2021
Create a modern card by adding spot texture details with a stencil and brush, then layer a raised vellum panel with the embossed typewriter. The arched vellum creates dimension and visual interest.
Position the snow storm stencil on your card base and pick up white ink with the texture brush.
Dab the brush through the stencil holes to create spot details across the card.
Alternatively, use the texture brush directly on the card by picking up ink and pressing it down to create spot texture.
Prepare a black top-folding note card as your base.
Glue a teal panel onto the front of the black card.
Trim the embossed vellum panel to size so it acts as an accent rather than covering the whole card.
Wrap the vellum around the card edge so the teal panel shows from behind, creating a layered effect.
Glue the vellum panel to the front of the card.
Arch the vellum by pulling it gently so it steps away from the card, then pinch at the bottom to create a tunnel effect.
Attach foam pads to the back of the arched vellum to raise it above the card base.
Glue the raised vellum panel onto the card.
Add glass gems or beads to complement the spot details and embellish the design.
