A project from our live show CATCH UP with Toni for a SATURDAY LAUNCH in the HTCN studio broadcast 20th Nov 21 · 11/20/2021
A vibrant card featuring a sketchy daisy flower design stamped in black and hand-painted with dye-based pigment inks in purple, yellow and red. The design is fussy-cut and layered onto a black background with embellishments.
Stamp a sketchy daisy flower design onto white cardstock using black ink.
Pick up the purple dye-based pigment ink and paint the outer petals of the flower.
Add bright yellow pigment ink to the centre of the flower.
Blend a red or orange tone into the yellow centre to create depth and dimension.
Add a green or teal tone to the stem area using the dye-based ink.
Fussy-cut around the flower design, staying close to the outline.
Mount the cut flower onto a black cardstock base using adhesive.
Add a wooden embellishment or decorative element to the card.
