Washi Tape Patterned Background with For You Die-Cut Card

Gather your white cardstock base and select pre-cut washi tape strips in coordinating colours.

Arrange the washi tape strips across your cardstock, layering them to create a patterned background with some white space showing through.

Glue each washi tape strip down securely using craft glue.

Trim away any excess washi tape that extends beyond the card edges.

Position your For You die on the card, deciding whether you want the word at the bottom, middle or top.

Secure the card with tape to prevent movement during die-cutting.

Run the card through your die-cutting machine twice to ensure a clean cut through the layered washi and cardstock.

Remove the die and carefully peel away the cut-out word to reveal the patterned background beneath.

Paper piece the cut-out letters back into the opening, raising them on foam pads to create a hidden message effect.

Add a small embellishment such as a dragonfly to one corner for dimension.
