Dragonfly Stamp Resist Background

Use a dragonfly stamp as a resist to create a striking background. Spray colour over the stamped image, then use kitchen roll to lift and blend the colour, leaving the stamped area protected and creating a beautiful resist effect.

Stamp the dragonfly image from the Be Bold stamp set onto your card using a dark ink

Spray the wink vibe spray colours (pink, blue, and teal) randomly across the entire page, covering it completely

Place kitchen roll over the wet sprayed area and press down gently

Lift the kitchen roll away to reveal the resist effect where the stamped dragonfly protected the card

Allow the card to dry completely

Tips from the show

Keep reusing the same piece of kitchen roll for mopping up—it will become saturated with different colours
Once dry, you can run the kitchen roll through a die-cutting machine to use it as a patterned background
