A project from our live show CATCH UP with Toni in the HTCN Studio for her SALE SHOW, the perfect start to your CRAFTY NEW YEAR broadcast 1st Jan 2022 · 01/01/2022
A beautiful greeting card featuring a stamped envelope design filled with flowers, layered with die-cut flourishes and embellished with gems and sparkle pens. The card combines stamping, colouring, die-cutting and gem embellishment for an elegant, dimensional finish.
Cut several flourish die shapes from white and gold cardstock using the die set.
Stamp the envelope design from the A5 stamp set onto pearlised cardstock in black ink.
Blow off excess ink from the stamped image with a heat tool.
Carefully cut away the envelope outline, leaving the flower elements inside.
Add shading and dimension to the envelope using coloured pencils, blending with your fingers.
Colour selected flowers within the envelope using coloured pencils in soft greens and purples.
Apply clear sparkle pen over the coloured areas to add shimmer.
Wipe away excess sparkle with a cloth to create a delicate effect.
Adhere the stamped envelope piece to a white card base using foam pads.
Layer the die-cut flourishes behind and around the envelope to fill gaps.
Attach gems and sequins to the card using glue dots, focusing on the floral areas.
Add a sentiment sticker or stamp to complete the card design.
