Tips from the show

• The sepia-toned guide underneath does all the work for you—you're just adding colour on top, so there's little to no effort required.
• After your first attempt, you can become more creative by adding your own darker shades and light-and-shade effects beyond what the guide shows.
• Use a tissue to remove excess water from your brush before blending colours; less water on the project really does help the artwork.
