A project from our live show HTCN LIVE LAUNCH - Join Toni for her latest products and inspiration broadcast 11th March · 03/11/2022
Create a vibrant freehand painted card using confetti ink in multiple colours to build a leaf and floral background. The metallic paints deliver rich, creamy coverage on black or white card, creating a stunning multi-coloured effect with added white gel pen highlights and sparkle embellishments.
Gather your confetti ink pots and spray water into the lid to activate the paint, creating a mixing station.
Select a small to medium brush and dip the tip into the activated confetti ink.
Press the brush tip onto your card, then drag it back to create a leaf shape, releasing pressure as you lift.
Repeat the leaf-making technique across your card using different confetti ink colours, rotating your artwork as you work.
Allow the water to evaporate between colour changes to see the true metallic finish emerge.
Switch to a smaller brush and add clustered dots of confetti ink in groups of three to fill empty spaces.
Use a white gel pen to add a highlight down the centre of each leaf or outline the leaf edges for extra definition.
Apply small adhesive dots and add white and pink sparkle embellishments to enhance the design.
Mount your finished painted panel onto a metallic card base, scoring gently so it doesn't slide.
Add a sentiment or washi tape strip to complete your card.
