Step by step

  1. Cut dinosaur footprint die-cuts from card using the stamp and die set, keeping the negative space as a stencil. ▶ watch 1:30

  4. Flip the stencil to the other side of the card and spray with orange ink to create an abstract pattern. ▶ watch 7:15
  5. Place the stencil over a separate panel and spray more heavily with green, then add orange from the opposite side for deeper colour. ▶ watch 7:45
  6. Heat-set the sprayed panels with a heat gun to dry the ink and activate the mica finish. ▶ watch 8:30
  7. Stamp a dinosaur character onto the card blank using black ink, pressing firmly twice for crisp detail. ▶ watch 10:30
  8. Paint the dinosaur with watercolours, starting with a light wash of green over the body and spikes. ▶ watch 13:45
  9. Add darker green shading to the spikes and background areas to create depth and definition. ▶ watch 15:00
  10. Die-cut around the stamped and painted dinosaur using the complementary die. ▶ watch 17:30
