Step by step

  1. Place the Kind Friends die onto white cardstock and run through your die-cutting machine. ▶ watch 20:30
  2. Cut the same die from green, pink and a lighter pink cardstock to create multiple layers. ▶ watch 21:00
  3. Carefully snip away the foliage from each die-cut, following the lines to isolate just the flowers. ▶ watch 21:45
  4. Layer the green die-cut as your base layer onto a card blank. ▶ watch 22:30
  5. Apply a small amount of glue to the back of the pink layer and position it slightly offset on top of the green layer to create a drop shadow effect. ▶ watch 23:00
  6. Add the lighter pink layer on top, again offsetting it slightly for additional dimension. ▶ watch 23:30
  7. Use a stencil brush to add a touch of pink ink to the centre of each flower to add shading and depth. ▶ watch 24:15
  8. Position a coordinating sentiment die-cut over any imperfections or to complete the card design. ▶ watch 25:00
  9. Adhere the finished floral topper to your card base using glue. ▶ watch 27:00
