Colourwashed Lady with Sentiment Card

Remove the largest lady stamp from the carrier sheet and secure it onto an acrylic block.

Ink up the stamp with black ink and stamp the lady's image onto white cardstock at the top of the card.

Select a sentiment stamp such as 'Stay Strong' from the same carrier sheet and ink it with black ink.

Stamp the sentiment in the corner of the card, allowing it to overlap slightly with the lady's image.

Spray a red ink pad with water and use a brush to paint colour around the lady's face, avoiding her facial features.

Add purple ink colour to other areas of the card using the same spray and brush technique.

Apply blue ink colour to additional sections, working around the card in random areas.

Add green ink colour to further areas of the background.

Return to purple ink and add more colour to the remaining spaces around the card.

Use a brush to add ink splats across the coloured areas to tie the design together and hide any blocky paint marks.

Paint a lipstick detail on the lady's face with a brush to add definition and make the image pop.

Heat set the stamped and coloured cardstock to dry it completely.

Mount the finished artwork onto a black cardstock border to make the coloured image stand out.

Adhere the mounted image to the centre of a white card blank.
