Gold-Accented Flat Card with Edged Panel

Create an elegant card by layering your first coloured floral panel with gold mirror cardstock and adding edge colour with an ink pad. This card features a flat design with subtle gold accents that make it sophisticated.

Step by step

1. Take your first coloured floral card with the halo effect and position it on a piece of gold mirror cardstock. ▶ watch 29:45
2. Adhere the floral panel flat to the gold mirror cardstock using spray adhesive. ▶ watch 30:15
3. Select an ink pad and roll it along the edges of the floral panel to add colour definition to the sides. ▶ watch 31:00
4. Edge the bottom edge of the panel with the same ink pad, rolling it gently to create a subtle shadow effect. ▶ watch 31:15
5. Add a stamped 'Thank You' sentiment down the side of the card. ▶ watch 31:30
6. Add gem embellishments around the sentiment area to complete the card. ▶ watch 32:00

Tips from the show

• The gold mirror cardstock shows through beautifully behind the floral design, adding elegance.
• Edging the panel with ink creates subtle dimension without overwhelming the design.
