Step by step

  1. Stamp the lady figure in black ink onto your dried bubble background, positioning her so the bubbles remain visible behind her. ▶ watch 29:45
  2. Load your brush with clean water and paint over the entire skirt area of the stamped lady to prepare it for wet-on-wet painting. ▶ watch 30:45
  3. Drop watercolour paint into the wet skirt area, starting with one colour at the top and allowing it to bleed naturally into the water. ▶ watch 31:00
  4. Add a second colour to the middle section of the skirt, pouncing it gently into the wet area to create an ombre effect. ▶ watch 31:30
  5. Introduce a third colour at the base of the skirt, allowing all colours to blend seamlessly without visible lines between them. ▶ watch 32:00
  6. Paint the bouquet held by the lady using random pouncing motions with various colours, focusing on the flower details rather than filling the entire area. ▶ watch 32:30
  7. Add colour to the leaves within the bouquet using green tones, maintaining the same pouncing technique for consistency. ▶ watch 33:00
  8. Allow the painted areas to dry completely before adding any embellishments or sparkle. ▶ watch 35:00
