About CUT FOLD AND TUCK

The Cut Fold and Tuck category from Spellbinders is designed for card makers and crafters who love adding dimension and interactive elements to their work. These products help you create cards and projects that engage the person receiving them, with moving parts and clever construction.

In this collection you'll find tools and dies that let you build cards with folding mechanisms and interlocking elements. The Triumphant Blossom and Puzzle Effect products are examples of the creative possibilities here—whether you're making blooms that open and close, or cards with pieces that slot together in surprising ways. These products are perfect when you want to move beyond flat designs and create something your recipients will want to interact with.

When working with fold and tuck designs, take time to plan your layout before cutting, so all the pieces align properly when assembled. Test your folds gently first to make sure everything moves smoothly, and consider the weight of your cardstock—lighter weights fold more easily, whilst heavier cardstock creates a more substantial, professional finish.
