This category features wooden frames in various shapes, crafted from 4mm MDF. The Apple Frame is ideal for creating layered card designs, framing stamped images, or adding a decorative element to scrapbook layouts. You can paint, stain or decorate these frames to match your colour scheme, then layer them with cardstock, patterned paper or your stamped artwork to create depth and visual interest.
When choosing an MDF frame, consider the overall size of your project and how the frame's shape will complement your design. These wooden pieces work beautifully with paint, ink, markers and embellishments, so think about your finishing technique before you start. MDF is lightweight and easy to work with, making it simple to incorporate into cards, scrapbook pages and mixed-media projects.
