FolkArt Colour Shift is a collection of iridescent and multi-tonal paints from Plaid, designed for crafters who want to add shimmer and dimension to their work. Whether you're a card maker, stamper or scrapbooker, these paints bring a magical quality to your projects with colours that shift and change as they catch the light.
This category contains 26 different shades, available in both 2oz and 4oz bottles. You'll find a full spectrum of colours including silvers, blues, purples, pinks, greens, reds and oranges, plus unique shades like Dragon Flash and Emerald Flash. Crafters typically use colour-shift paints to embellish stamped images, add shimmer to backgrounds, paint details on card layers, or create eye-catching accents on mixed-media projects.
When choosing your shades, think about how the iridescent effect will work with your design—these paints are particularly striking on darker card stocks where the shimmer really stands out. A little goes a long way, so start with a small amount and build up coverage gradually for the best results.
