How To Guide - Step 1

Spray the Izink Bleu Ciel and Blue Moon sprays, directly on to the front of your card blank.

How To Guide - Step 2

Whilst the ink is still wet, splatter water over your background, leave for a few seconds, then mop up the excess water with a paper towel.

Allow to dry naturally, if possible, but you can speed it up with a heat gun, being careful not to warp the front of your card.

How To Guide - Step 3

Splatter Confetti white paint over your background, then dry it off.

How To Guide - Step 4

Use your Thirsty Brush Rainbow stencil to draw random clouds on to your background, with a black fineline pen.

Draw "movement" lines on your clouds, as required.

Set your card to one side.

How To Guide - Step 5

Stamp up three birds, (TWO of the bigger one), from the Bert And Ernie Creative Stamps, with the Onyx Black Versafine, on to the A4 white card. Be frugal where you stamp the images, as you will need to keep the leftover card to stamp more images on to, in a later step.

Once the ink is dry, cut them out.

How To Guide - Step 6

Use your watercolour paints to paint your cut out elements.

How To Guide - Step 7

Once the paints are dry, use a white gel pen to add accents and highlights to your elements.

Set these to one side.

How To Guide - Step 8

Ink up the parachute stamp, from the Jump Creative Stamps set, with the Onyx Black Versafine.

Stamp it TWICE, on to the white card you set aside earlier, and cut them out as shown here.

Set the leftover card to one side.

How To Guide - Step 9

Place the dotty parachute section, of the Funky Parachutes stencil, in position, over one of the cut out parachutes.

Blend the Villainous Distress Oxide through the stencil.

Set this one aside.

How To Guide - Step 10

Blend the Kitsch Flamingo Distress Oxide over your second cut out parachute, as shown here. Dont't worry about going over the edges, as you will being cutting them out later.

How To Guide - Step 11

Place the striped parachute section, of the Funky Parachutes stencil, in position, over the pink inked parachute.

Blend the Villainous Potion Oxide through the stencil.

How To Guide - Step 12

Once the ink is dry, cut off the bottom sections of the inked parachutes, as shown here.

Set them to one side.

How To Guide - Step 13

Cut SIX pieces of twine, approx 5 1/2" in length.

How To Guide - Step 14

Adhere the strands of twine on to the reverse of the parachutes, as shown here, securing them in place with your double side adhesive tape/red liner tape.

Leave the ends hanging loose.

How To Guide - Step 15

Use wet glue to adhere the first parachute in place, on your inked card blank. Leave the twine hanging loose for now.

You can shape the parachute with your fingers, to give it a slight curve.

How To Guide - Step 16

Adhere the second parachute in place, using foam pads to add dimension. Leave the twine loose.

How To Guide - Step 17

Attach foam pads to the reverse of your Birbs, then pull the twine taut, on each of the parachutes, before adhering your Birbs in place. Alternatively, you can tape the twine in position first.

How To Guide - Step 18

Adhere the flying bird on to the striped parachute, with foam pads.

How To Guide - Step 19

Draw around the parachutes with a black pen, to make them "pop" from the background.
