Un proyecto de nuestro programa en vivo MIRA DE NUEVO a Simon en MONDAY MADNESS en el estudio de HTCN, transmitido el 24 ene 22 · 01/24/2022
A charming seaside card featuring a cute crab with wobbly eyes in a layered beach scene. The design uses iridescent spray to create a shimmering background, with layered die-cuts representing sand, seaweed, and sea, topped with a sentiment strip and raised character.
Place a card blank into a box lid lined with absorbent paper to catch spray overspray.
Shake the iridescent spray bottles to activate the mica, then spray the bubble wave stencil onto the card with orange and rose pastel colours.
Carefully lift off the stencil to reveal the shimmering background pattern.
Dry the sprayed card with a heat gun to set the colours and help straighten any curling.
Apply tape runner adhesive to a black card mount and attach it to a red card blank.
Adhere the shimmered background card to the black mount using tape runner.
Cut a white card panel to size and layer blue card, sand-coloured card, and seaweed foliage die-cuts to create a beach scene.
Stamp the shallow sentiment repeatedly across a white strip using black ink, positioning stamps in a line with some overlapping the edge.
Glue the sentiment strip onto the beach scene panel.
Trim the layered beach scene to size and mount it on a black card backing.
Stamp the crab image onto white card and colour it with watercolours, mixing orange and red for the shell and adding details to the legs and mouth.
Die-cut the coloured crab using the appropriate die.
Glue wobbly eyes onto the crab to bring it to life.
Mount the crab on a foam pad and position it on the beach scene, then attach the whole scene to the card base.
