Tim Holtz Distress Crayons are perfect for card makers, stampers and scrapbookers who love adding colour and texture to their projects with a tactile, hands-on approach.
This collection features Distress Crayons in rich, earthy tones like Mustard Seed. These crayons are ideal for colouring stamped images, adding shading to your designs, and blending colours directly onto cardstock, patterned paper and other craft surfaces. You can use them dry for bold colour or blend them with water or blending solutions for softer, more diffused effects.
When choosing your crayons, think about the colour palette of your project first—whether you're going for warm, cool or neutral tones. A handy tip is to test blending on scrap paper before applying to your finished piece, so you can see how the colours work together and get comfortable with the pressure you need for your desired effect.
