9:30 So we've got this one that's back in stock. You have your bond and seal to seal your box if you are painting it. Now, please know that this is matte, which is awesome. We don't do shine. It's matte, so it bonds your box. So if you do stenciling on top, if you do like a nice pretty stencil or you put something on it, it all bonds it and seals it. It's just really cool. 10:00 So we've already got all of the other things. They were already in stock. Now, I've got a recommendation today. It is the Lost Shadow Distressing. Has anybody got this? Now, I took this to TV last week because I hadn't got a gray in my own collection. Actually, it's a really lovely gray. So if you're wanting to put shadows, if you're wanting to edge the edge of your cards to get rid of your white, this one is a lovely, lovely gray.
10:30 So I thought I'd incorporate it in the show because I know you all like my recommendations when it comes to shadows, whether it's gray, purples, blues. This one I found was a really good one. Now, let's get into some demoing. Now, if you are, if you spend the 30, you'll get the lovely trellis die. I'm going to use this. I've seen there's lots of you have got it. You've told me, so I'm not using owt you haven't got. And I have some paper and a couple of layering stencils as well.

13:30 So let's create a card. So let's do a little bit of a technique. I'm going to use this nice trellis die. Okay. So it's got that lovely emboss detail in there. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to cut this a few times, and I'm going to create a 3D card, okay? A viewer is watching on TV. She finds it hard work on the phone, but great on TV, chatting on her iPad. Well, that makes me very happy.
14:00 So let's run this one through a few times. Now, I'll run it through a few times on, and do it on kraft, because that's going to coordinate with this paper, isn't it? Let's do it on kraft. So grab some kraft card, and I think I'll cut it three times because I'm going to do like a 3D card. She says, "3D card." So let's cut this about three times. MDF Book Box Medium 25x18x7cm

15:00 Now, with these types of dies, I always find that if you put them on an angle a little bit like so, they cut a little bit better. You just put them on your plate on a little bit of an angle. Now, if you are doing your MDF boxes, these types of things glued, when you glue a ton together, when you glue them together and you make a block, when you put them on to-- And just for example, guys. But what I want to do is I want to create the illusion of a 3D card. And the way to do this is, if you haven't done this before, is you get two pieces of paper exactly the same. 26:30 Has anybody been crafting today? So that's the die cut with the paper. Okay. So what we're going to do is we're going to create sort of like a 3D back card. Should we say. Getting overrun, there's so much stuff here. Well, let's bring in the bits and pieces that we've done so far.
27:00 Get rid of that for now. And then what happens, super-duper easy, guys, and you can do this with predominantly anything. So if you have something similar, what happens is you glue these three together. Now, I just want to just show you a little bit of a
27:30 technique because it don't matter, because I'm going to cover it. So if you die cut one of these, right, and you take a, let's just say for instance this is a card blank. Okay, and you take the one that you've cut. If you pop it in the corner of your card, like so, you could create some beautiful stencil blocks in the back of your card. If you take a brush, for example, and just take an ink pad
28:00 Obviously, pretend it's the right size, and you can absolutely. You just do not intentionally fill the whole thing. If you just do it from top up, like so, from the mall, you could create some awesome building blocks in the box dimension of cards.
28:30 Working on Christmas cards. You see how you could create that lovely dimension? And then if you wanted to sort of twist it a little bit and do it so they're
29:00 connected, so the diamonds connect. So if you move it down, line it up best you can, it says. You could maybe connect and do other variations. I'm just showing you some ideas of using your waste, guys. You could do a full, a light, like a checkerboard, a light and a dark
29:30 if you wanted to. So just bear that in mind. It's a great hack for if you've got overcut cardstock or you want to use the die in a different format. Okay. So let's just move that one out of the way for now. So the inky one, we'll put to the bottom, like so. Let me just grab some tape. So I'm just going to put some tape on this bottom one.
30:00 I'm going to put this one on top. And then we're going to put this one on top. So we've built like our little MDF embellishment type thing.
30:30 And now you've got like a card piece, which is nice. And then we're going to take our back piece, and we're going to stick it onto here. Okay, so let's do that.
31:00 So now it's on the front of my card beautifully. And then we put our
31:30 piece on. You get where it's going now, guys. You can make this plaque embellishment as deep as you want to, dependent on how much you want the rise and fall in your card. So put this on top of the card as well. So it now looks like so. And then the piece that you cut with your die, when you pop it on top,
32:00 it hides your trellis, so you get the 3D. Can we see? How the design all matches beautifully. But you get that lovely depth and dimension in the card. So it just creates a little bit of interest in your card, rather than the sort of like flat card. Maybe you want to create a little bit of a 3D card. So all you basically do is, if you've just tuned in, is cut the die that you want to 3D multiple
32:30 times, and then you sort of like get two pieces of... The card has to be matching to create the illusion of the 3D, remember. I'll just stick it on top. So I'll try and get two pieces that match. Like so, and then you have your sort of like your hidden 3D in there. Do we like that? Something a little bit different, guys, eh?
33:00 And then, that'll be the base of our card. And then let's do a stencil. Now, because of the creams and the teals in here, I think we need to do like a beautiful stenciled flower, maybe with the teal. But I've got a couple of stencils here. All work so well. This has to be my favorite, but
33:30 can't use your favorites all the time, can you? So we've got like the rose branch, which is this one here. Which is this one, guys. So it creates a beautiful rose with the greenery leaves. Then you've got this one, which is sort of like standing tall, which would look absolutely awesome on there, I guess. And then you've got the sort of like cluster one, which could do a beautiful corner as well. So I've used this a few times. So I think we need to step away from those, because I've used that.
34:00 I've done this one a few times as well. I don't think I've done this one so much. So let's, shall we just do this one today? You do not leave your tree up. Oh, after old Christmas. I was thinking, "Does she leave it up all year?" So we'll do this one, and we'll try and keep it in theme with the color combination going on in the back, although the gray would look gorgeous,

Make sure you can see the numbers, and then pop them corner to
35:30 corner on the edge of a card. Line it with the edge of the card, or put the ink through the hearts if you want to, and then off you go. So let's do a really subtle. You get the die as well look, which is awesome. Let's do a really subtle. Do you know what? Such a shame. We should/could just maybe just switch straight onto it. I've never tried that technique before. But then you're not going to get the design in the holes, no. Don't be silly, Toni, just do it this way.
36:00 So let's pop that on there like so, and let's go for it. Now, we will do the teal that we just had, but I think it would look really good in the gray. So if you've got a nice gray, maybe you've got this. Try that as well. So let me get my brush. Lovely teal on craft, isn't it? So I'm going to start super light and then work out. In relation to the leaves, I might do the leaves

What's nice about doing it on craft as well is you're going to end up with that lovely craft-colored outline instead of a harsh white. 41:00 It's not dark by any means. Don't be buying it thinking it's a dark gray, because there's lots of dark grays. That's why I like this, because it's very subtle, really lovely. And it's lovely and warm. So just add some of that lovely gray into there.
